  • A1 AccessPlus is an international rechargeable calling card.
  • Q2 From what kinds of phones can I make a call?
  • A2 It can be used from landlines, mobiles, public phones. It may not be used in some IP phones, phones connected through CATV, and next-generation mobile phones.

  • Q3 What should I do if I use up all of my call credits?
  • A3 You can 'Recharge' (add credits) your AccessPlus card at convenience stores using Smart Pit bar code printed on the back or coupons. It is also possible to pay at home through credit card once you register. If you sign up for 'Auto-Recharge', there is no need to charge AccessPlus card yourself as it will be recharged automatically whenever the balance becomes small.
  • Q4 Do I need to pay a registration fee or maintenance fee to use AccessPlus?
  • A4 You will not be charged aside from call and communication fees. You can use the credit immediately after paying.
  • Q5 Do Access Plus credits expire?
  • A5 Your credits will not expire as long as you are using the card. However, if there is no usage for one year after the last charge, the balance will expire.   
  • Q6 How can I check the balance or remaining minutes?
  • A6 Whenever you make a call using AccessPlus, a voice prompt will tell you your remaining balance (in minutes and in amount) before connecting your call.
  • Q7 What is International SMS?
  • A7 You can send SMS from your mobile phone to abroad. See How to Use page for more details.
  • Q8 Which countries/area can I send SMS to?
  • A8 The International SMS feature of AccessPlusSM is currently available for the Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, India, Sri Lanka, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore, USA, Canada, South Korea, Saudi Arabia and Thailand.
  • Q9 What is 'LOAD TRANSFER'?
  • A9 The Load Transfer feature allows you to transfer credits from your Access Plus card to another Access Plus cards or to mobile phones abroad. See LOAD TRANSFER page for more details.
  • Q10 I have sent load, but the recipient hasn't received it yet.
  • A10 There may be chances that message may be delayed depending on the communication network.
  • Q11 How can I call from Yahoo! BB?
  • A11 Domestic charges are free for Yahoo! BB user. See How to Call page for more details.

  • Q1 Do the rates depend on what day or what time the calls are made?
  • A1 AccessPlus has a flat rate for 24 hours, 7 days a week.
  • Q2 How do I know the latest rates?
  • A2 The latest rate table is available here. All rates are subject to change without prior notice.
  • Q3 What is the minimum chargeable call time?
  • A3 AccessPlus system is based on 6-second increments so calls 6 seconds or longer will be charged.
  • Q4 Are domestic charges included?
  • A4 003200 and access codes starting with 0120 include domestic charges. However, when calling using access code 03 (for PHS) you will be charged by local provider.
  • Q5 Is it possible to make a call from a Yahoo! BB phone? How much does it cost?
  • A5 You can if you are calling from Yahoo!BB phones. Please dial the access code 050-1111-3132.
  • Q6 What is a Rechargeable Calling Card?
  • A6 AccessPlus is a rechargeable card for international calls. It can be recharged instantly at almost any convenience store or through credit card. Unlike other disposable prepaid cards, you can recharge (add credit) to AccessPlus card anytime, anywhere.
  • Q7 Where can I recharge my AccessPlus card?
  • A7 You can 'Recharge' (add credits) to your AccessPlus card at convenience stores or through credit card.

  • Q8 How long should I wait after paying before I can make a call?
  • A8 Most (re)charges will take approximately five to ten minutes to process. However, sometimes it may take longer depending on the communication network.
  • Q9 How can I change the Smart Pit charge amount?
  • A9 You can choose any amount from JPY2,000, JPY5,000 and JPY10,000. Also, note that this feature is only available for older cards and newer cards can only be charged with JPY2,000 at a time. See Online Service page for more details.
  • Q10 What is 'SmartPit'?
  • A10 SmartPit is a payment system offered by NTT comware.
  • Q11 Which convenience stores can I pay by SmartPit?
  • A11 SmartPit payments are available at FamilyMart, Three F, Mini Stop, Circle K, Sunkus and Lawson. If you pay at Lawson or FamilyMart, use the "Loppi" or "Fami Port" machine and get the payment order slip which you just present at the counter and make a payment.
  • Q12 Can I charge through Credit Card?
  • A12 You can recharge AccessPlus card through credit card payment from your mobile or PC. Sign up for 'Auto Recharge' and you no longer need to worry about lack of your credit while calling!
  • Q13 What is 'AUTO RECHARGE' ?
  • A13 AccessPlus card can be recharged automatically through credit card payment whenever its balance reaches JPY500 or less. To avail of the feature, please sign up for 'Auto Recharge'. See Online Servicepage for more details.

  • Q1 003200 access number is not available from the phone I'm using.
  • A1 003200 prefixes may not be accessible from IP phone, PHS or NTT DoCoMo prepaid mobile phones. From these phones, please use the 03 access number.
  • Q2 Is it possible to use AccessPlus from Yahoo!BB phone or J-com phone?
  • A2 Yes!
    Dial 050-1111-3132 for Yahoo!BB phone or,
    dial 0120-977-842 for J-com phone.
  • Q3 I have already registered an AccessPlus card to my phone. But what if I want to use another AccessPlus card?
  • A3 Please change your straight dial registration from Online Serviceor contact our customer service.
  • Q4 What if I forget my PIN?
  • A4 Please be responsible for your PIN as we can not re-issue or notify you of your PIN. Please contact our customer service so we can send you a new AccessPlus card.
  • Q5 I've lost my AccessPlus card. What should I do?
  • A5 Please contact our customer serviceand we will deactivate the card.
  • Q6 I've found the lost AccessPlus card which was deactivated. What should I do?
  • A6 Please contact our customer service and we will re-activate the card.
  • Q7 If I place a call using 03 access number instead of 003200, am I going to be billed a domestic charge?
  • A7 If you are placing a call using 03 access (access code starting from 03), you will be charged for domestic charges to Tokyo 03 from the connection time until you hang up the phone.
  • Q8 I can not call 003200 from my dormitory.
  • A8 003200 prefix may not be available from some offices, dormitories or buildings where the phone lines are connected to a PBX. From these phones, please use the 03 access number.
